Messy Club Terms and Conditions
By booking and attending Messy Club, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
ALLERGIES: It is the responsibility of the attending adult(s) to ensure the child/children do not interact with any material/food substance that may cause an allergic reaction to their child/children. Please bring suitable medication if your child has an allergy.
Messy Club will do their utmost to use items that are either edible, non-toxic and hypoallergenic. Please ensure children do not ingest the products. It is there for play. Packaging of products used are available on request.
Messy Club does not accept responsibility for any accident, allergic reaction or illness found to be directly caused from any product or item provided. It is the responsibility of the attending adult to supervise their children.
BEHAVIOUR: We want everyone to have fun so please be kind and respectful. We want everyone to have fun and a positive experience. Foul language, aggressive behaviour and vandalism will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Messy Club reserves the right to refuse future participation.
BOOKING CONSENT FORMS: All attendees are required to complete the booking form to agree to these terms and conditions, to inform us of any allergies, consent to photography - their use for marketing and promotional activity, and to opt in/out of our mailing list/WhatsApp Group. This is to be completed before your first session to Messy Club commences.
FOOD & DRINK: We kindly ask no food or hot drinks are consumed during the Messy Club session. Refreshments are available after the session and hot drinks are to be kept out of reach of children. Please be respectful of allergies. The clubhouse is a NUT FREE ZONE. Please ensure all waste is taken home with you as we do not have the facilities to dispose of it.
PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:
Payment is required to be made online here https://bookwhen.com/messyclub-littleaces. Messy Club does not provide refunds for non-attendance. If non-attendance is due to sickness, your booked session can be transferred to a future session. Please contact messyclubsurrey@gmail.com before your booked session commences with your alternative date.
If in the event Messy Club is to be cancelled, communication will be shared via all suitable communication channels and all pre-booked attendees will be notified and refunded in full.CLOTHING: Children are to wear appropriate clothing for messy play (old clothes advised!). Bare feet enhances the sensory experience but is optional. We recommend bringing a spare set of clothes to change into or pop over before you leave. The food colouring and paints used are washable and can sometimes rub off on little ones hands. They can also stain so please bear this in mind for yourself and your little one.
COVID-19: Please ensure Government guidelines are respectfully followed. https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus If any attendees have Coronavirus, we kindly ask that you do not attend Messy Club. The option to attend a future session or a full refund will be provided.
DAMAGE: Please report any damage to property or resources. Accidents happen and we just want to ensure we’re aware and can fix any problems and so that no one comes to any harm.
FACILITIES: Messy Club is held in the member’s clubhouse at Sanderstead Village Lawn Tennis Club. In the clubhouse there is a large open space where the session will be held; separate male and female toilets, a small kitchen and fridge freezer (for use by tennis club members only). There is no parking on the club premises. Baby changing facilities are provided in both the male and female toilets during Messy Club sessions. Please visit SVLTC.co.uk for further information. If you’re interested in playing tennis at the club there are some great cost-effective membership options, coaching and group play sessions. You will be warmly welcomed.

NAPPIES & WASTE: Nappy changing and the use of potties should only be conducted in the appropriate toilet. Please take all nappies and waste home with you.
PARKING: No cars are permitted on the premises. On street parking is available on Sanderstead Court Avenue and nearby roads.
PERSONAL POSSESSIONS: Messy Club under no circumstance takes any responsibility for loss or damages to personal possessions during a messy play session.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Photographs will be taken and used on various communication channels, including social media. If you do not consent for you/your child being photographed, please ensure you state this on your Booking Consent Form.
PRAMS: Please leave prams outside the clubhouse. Don’t forget your raincover for wet days. Please take extra care when walking up to the clubhouse as the uneven path can be slippery when wet. There is also a steep incline/decline at the top so please ensure you hold littles ones hands.
RESPONSIBILITY: Attending adults (parents / guardians / carers, etc.) are solely in charge and responsible for the control, care and safety of their child/children at all times whilst attending Messy Club and on the premises of Sanderstead Village Lawn Tennis Club (SVLTC). No child is to be left in the clubhouse or on the tennis club premises unsupervised at any time. If you need to pop to your car quickly or outside to take a call, for example, please ensure another adult is aware and consents to supervising your child/children. Messy Club takes no responsibility for the supervision of attending children.
SAFEGUARDING: Messy Club hosts have completed Safeguarding training. If you have any concerns, please speak to your Messy Club host or email confidentially to messyclubsurrey@gmail.com
SICKNESS: Children that are clearly unwell must not enter the venue. Please be considerate of others.
SPILLAGES, INCIDENTS & ACCIDENTS: Please report all spillages, incidents or accidents. Any physical injury which occurs whilst on SVLTC property is to be reported. The injured person will be required to provide their name, address, time and date of the accident, location of the accident and a description of the injury and its causes. Messy Club and SVLTC accept no responsibility.
STAINS: Non-toxic and washable materials used may stain. We will not be liable for any stains or marks on anyone's clothes or belongings. Please ensure you move any baby changing bags / handbags out of the messy zone to avoid any accidents from happening.
